How to Assign Storage Bins to Activity Areas

You can assign the storage Bins to Activity Areas in SAP S/4 Hana system, by using the following configuration steps.

IMG Path: SPRO {Transaction Code} > SAP Reference IMG > SCM Extended Warehouse Management > Extended Warehouse Management > Master Data > Activity Areas > Assign Storage Bins to Activity Areas.

Step 1: From Display IMG Screen, follow the Navigation IMG Path and execute “Assign Storage Bins to Activity Areas.

Step 2: On change view “Activity Area” Overview screen, click on “New Entries”

Step 3: On new entries of the Activity Areas assignment screen, update the following details.

  • Warehouse No: Enter the Embedded EWM Warehouse key in the given field warehouse number.
  • Activity Area: Update the activity area key

Assign Storage Bins to Activity Areas in SAP Hana EWM

After maintaining the required details, click on the Save button and save the details.
