Geo Zone in SAP SuccessFactors is a grouping of locations based on costing of living. With Geo zone, you can specify lower than the average cost of living, higher than average cost living and their impact to salary rage.
How to Create Geo Zone in SAP SuccessFactors
You can create Geo Zone in SAP SuccessFactors by using the following configuration step
Step 1: Navigate: Admin Center -> EMP Files -> Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structure -> Create New
Step 2: To create new Geo Zone in SAP SuccessFactors, create a new: from dropdown list choose the option, Geo Zone.
Step 2: On the new Geo Zone entries screen, update the following details
- Code: Enter the new Geo Zone that defines the Geo Zone record in SAP SuccessFactors.
- Name: Enter the name of the Geo Zone record
- Description: Enter the descriptive text of Geo Zone
- Status: Update the status as Active or Inactive
- Adjustment percentage: Allocate the adjustment percentage for the Geo Zone record.
After entering all the required details for Geo Zone, click on the save icon and save the created Geo Zone record in SAP SuccessFactors.
How to Display, Edit, Delete Geo Zone in SuccessFactors
To display/ Edit / Delete Geo Zone: Navigate: Admin Center -> EMP Files -> Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structure B -> Search.
- To make modifications of Geo Zone details, click on Take Action and choose the option make corrections and modify Geo Zone record with required details.
- To delete Geo Zone record, click on take action and choose the option “Permanently delete record“.
