Location in SAP SuccessFactors is a physical place where an employee work, each location can have country specific address.
How to Create Location in SAP SuccessFactors
You can create location in SAP SuccessFactors by using the following configuration steps:
Step 1: Navigate: Admin Center -> EMP Files -> Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structure -> Create New
Step 2: To create new location in SAP SuccessFactors, choose the drop down list from create new option and select the option Location Group.
To display the existing location, from Organization, Pay and Job Structures screen, you can view the existing location groups by choosing the location group from search.
Step 3: On new location entries screen, enter the following details
- Effective as of: Choose the effective starting date of location
- Code: Enter the new code for location
- Name: Enter the name for new location record
- Description: Enter the descriptive text for location
- Status: Choose the option from the dropdown list,
- Location Group: Assign the location group to location, you can choose the location group from the dropdown list.
- Time zone: Choose the Time Zone of location
- Standard Weekly Hours: Update the working hours
- Geo Zone: Assign the Geo zone record from the dropdown list
- Country: Update the country from the dropdown list.
After updating all the required details new location in SAP SuccessFactors, click on save option and save the newly created location in SuccessFactors system.
How to display Location in SAP SuccessFactors
All the existing locations in SAP SuccessFactors can be displayed by using the following steps
Navigate: Admin Center -> Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structure -> Search: choose the location from the dropdown list.
- To modify the location, click on Take Action and click on Make Corrections.
- To delete Location, click on Take Action and click on permanently delete record.
